Illuminating Future: Books to SuluGune

We are proud to announce the successful completion of a meaningful project by the Lions Club of Kandy Rajans, where we donated educational books to the students of SuluGune, a remote village in our region. This initiative was born out of our commitment to uplift underprivileged communities by providing access to education, an essential tool for personal and community development. In areas like SuluGune, where resources are scarce, these books will play a pivotal role in empowering young minds to dream big and achieve their potential.

The Rathugala Village Relief Project was designed to provide immediate assistance to the most vulnerable families in the remote village of Rathugala. Many residents in the area face significant challenges in accessing basic necessities, and the Lions Club of Kandy Rajans stepped in to help by distributing dry ration packs to those in need. These packs contained essential food items, including rice, lentils, and flour, offering much-needed support to families struggling to make ends meet. The project was a lifeline for many villagers, particularly in times of economic difficulty and food insecurity.
